Emotions: The Fullness of Your Experience

In an earlier article I talked about how emotions can be indicators of something that needs to be dealt with. But in some cases, emotions are not indicating something that needs to be addressed, but rather are highlighting an experience that you're having and are fully present to.
A very important friend of mine is moving away, to the east coast to live at the beach (her lifelong dream). Last night we had a "farewell/launch" dinner for her, and when we embraced to say goodbye, we both were sad and crying.

New Woman: Letting Go of The Past

One Saturday afternoon the television was tuned to a video marathon of R & B tunes from the mid 1980s and early 1990s. Just the backdrop I love, as I put some TLC in my home. As I swept, mopped and dusted, I crooned out the lyrics to songs from artists, such as Anita Baker, Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass. Memories began to flood my mind. Howard University 1985: Club Philly meeting about South Africa Apartheid; February 1989: at my father's bedside in his last moments; September 1992, my baby girl is born.

THE POWER OF WILLING

When you read the title of this notes, I believe everyone will be agree with that statement. But, have you ever ask to yourself, are we strong enough to follow our will ? Some people do, but most of people too weak to make their dreams come true. In the fact, most of people surrender and just follow their fate without trying harder to find what they really want.
